Previews of coming attractions

It appears that weather is much harder to predict than to report.  I assume that is why the Weather Channel sends those "reporters" out to get frozen, slushed upon, pelted and swept away by the winds...they can go "see!  this is what is happening". 

What we have lost is accuracy in what will happen.

In our last three scary forecasts of momentous snows, we have only one 5".  Tomorrow, we are supposed to be buried in a foot of snow and 50 mph winds off the ocean.

Just in case that doesn't happen, here is a pretend photo looking westward down Front Street in our little town.
