Every once in a while

I hear something for the first time.  I listen to WQXR when I'm writing, in fact most of the day, and after 60+ years of consuming this music, well I've heard a lot.  I'm not bragging; nothing to do with that at all.  Just have.

This one is new to me.  I know the composer and the style; in particular that magic time around 1900 when most of my favorite composers (mostly French) were knee deep in Spain, at least here and there. This one is special and the orchestra is wonderful.  One of my friends from long ago, Josie Fitzpatrick is a leader of the viola section which makes it special over and above.

One more off and on my bucket list.
