Most folks call these Geese "poop on wings" and rightly so. My grand daughters can identify goose poop (different than deer poop). Aside from that, they fly magnificently and their honking always makes us look.
I think hunters like them because they travel in straight lines and are big targets. I'd rather hunt them with a camera as I'm not into shooting anything. It isn't sport in my book but that's me.
When I think of birds on the wing and hunting and all that my mind turns to our former VP, Dick Cheney and his quail hunting escapades. I then think of Lewis Black. My attention then turns back to the geese.
