Amazing.
When the market looks like the roller coaster at Coney Island with long sections of the ride resembling a saw blade, you have zero chance of surviving. This is a day for "micro-second" traders and their technology. The little red arrows show the depths of manipulation. They sell all the way down and buy at the bottom - just waiting and planning the next swing; and if it doesn't happen they make it happen.
The market opened a couple hundred dollars down and with NO NEWS and in the space of minutes - the "big loss" turned into a gain. Whole lot of selling at the opening and a whole lot of buying when the market tanked a few minutes later.
Never get between the pigs and the food.
