This is round one of the class struggle version 2.0 Business who export jobs while getting tax bailouts, wall street, and the blessed 2% are in this contract. They are the ones dictating the fine print - the proverbial "after I've eaten, you can have what I don't want".
This bonehead is leading the charge. Hide the children. Bury the silver. Trust not.
State revenues are closely linked to Federal revenues. That means less in the state coffers and with medicare already looming large due to the economy and joblessness, this could be the knockout punch.
Tax cuts seem to be the central theme. Just think about that for a bit. First, this side of the aisle says that the lower 50% of us don't pay any taxes now. What are you going to cut? Second, tax cuts for the rich have been in effect for 8 years. That really has done a bang up job in creating a healthy economy hasn't it.
I'll just wait here for an answer.
