Big tobacco 1, civilization 0

You have to love big tobacco companies.  I think of them fondly as the moral equal to BP.  I am specially enthralled by how they go after kids.

There was a loophole of sorts in a recent bill.  It allowed loose tobacco to be labeled "pipe tobacco" instead of for rolled cigarettes. that cut the costs by 90% and made it affordable ... for kids.

These SOBs should be hung, racked and drawn and quartered just for the sheer public spectical it would present.  I had  a piece of the tobacco industry advertising pie 20 years ago and they were tighter with a penny than Scrooge. That was ok but the penny they got was partly from a kid under peer pressure and elegance pressure and whatever pressure they could drum up.
