and yet another word from Mr. Knowitall

David Brooks had a somewhat interesting column in the NYTimes this morning. But why so suprised David? We have governed them by an endless rules of regulations that they themselves have often written. Our bureaucrats are always put to blame as scapegoats for failures. These are the fully growed oaks of the acorns of unrestrained capitalizm and we got what we paid for.

I had 3 days of granddaughters this weekend.  They are mini-corporations. Their desire for unrestrained activity is incredible. Their reactions to "NO!" are laughable.  One granddaughter, after drawing on our hallway wall came to my wife and with toddler sign language signed "more" while shaking her head "no" as in "no more".  I wish our little idiots running great big companies would be so smart.
